Alan Mullis has been guiding for Ken Penrod's Life Outdoors Unlimited for the past eleven years. Mullis guides on the lower Potomac mainly but also has been successful on Lake Anna and Kerr Lake in Virginia. Alan drives a Ranger boat with a Johnson motor. Alan resides with his wife Christy and son Gus in Poolsville Maryland. Mullis is operations manager for Rockville Fuel and Feed Company/Montgomery Vault and is also a certified auctioneer in the state of Maryland. Alan is a licensed Captain by the United States Coast Guard and has a Maryland tidal water and fresh water guide license. He has been trained in both First Aid and CPR.
