A Maryland native, and an avid outdoorsman since his earlier years,Andy has been guiding for over 18 years. He recently returned home from Montana where he was a fly fishing and hunting guide for over 12 years.  Andy now resides in Pennsylvania,  and pursues his passions in Pennsylvania and Maryland as a fly fishing and smallmouth guide. On his days off he's usually chasing smallmouth bass. his obsession on the local rivers or innovating new fly patterns to fool the weariest of fish.  

Chiu has fished and guided both salt and freshwater around the world.   Costa Rica, Argentina, Mongolia, Kamchatka, Florida, and the Chesapeake are a few of his favorite destinations.  He is also a devoted fly tyer for both fresh and saltwater fly patterns.  Andy is a teacher and is ready to share with anyone his knowledge of our local rivers and the techniques to fish them. He is here to make sure that your fishing experience will be both enjoyable and memorable.  His knowledge of the local history and surrounding habitats will also assure a wonderful learning experience.
