 Rate Schedule

  We provide guide service to so many waters that it’s not practical to provide a lump sum rate. We encourage you to bring your own rods and reels. You may rent rods from us for $10.00 per rod, which will cover the cost of line replacement. You are responsible for appropriate fishing license. You bring your lunch and drinks—and suitable clothing & personals. We make only one guarantee: 100% effort from our guides. A nonrefundable $200 deposit is required. Balance is due at end of trip in cash or check. We practice “catch & release” for black bass. We reserve the right to change this schedule. Please review the following.

Tidal Potomac River:
½ day (4-5 hours) $250.00.
Full day (7-8 hours-8 gallons of boat gas-max.) $350.00
Fee includes up to 8 gallons of boat fuel. Lost lures and broken tackle extra.
Ken Penrod’s fee is $400.00.

Tidal Potomac River Catfish Trip:
Full day only (7-8 hours) $425.00
Lost lures and broken tackle extra.

Upper Potomac River:
½ day (4-5 hours) $250.00.
Full day (7-8 hours) $350.00
Lost lures and broken tackle extra.
Ken Penrod’s rate is $400.00

Upper Chesapeake Bay:
½ day (4-5 hours) $250.00 plus expense.
Full day (7-8 hours) $350.00 plus expense.
Fee includes up to 8 gallons of boat fuel.
Lost lures and broken tackle extra.
Ken Penrod’s fee is $400.00 plus expense.

Susquehanna River, Pennsylvania:
No ½ day trips available.
Full day (7-8 hours)  $350.00 PLUS expense (see “expense” defined below).
Lures and broken rods additional.
Ken Penrod’s rate is $400.00 plus expense.

Lake Anna:
½ days not available.
Full day @ $325.00 plus expense.
Lures and broken equipment is extra.
Ken Penrod’s rate is $400.00.

Choptank, Nanticoke, Wicomico, Pocomoke, Rappahannock & Chickahominy Rivers:
Half day not available.
Full day @ $350.00 plus expense (7-8 hrs)
Lost lures and broken tackle is additional. Eight gallons of boat gasoline allowed. Pocomoke River requires 2-day minimum.
Ken Penrod’s rate is $400.00 plus expense.

Deep Creek Lake:
Half day @ $275.00
Full day @ $350.00.
Live bait not included.
Eight gallons of boat fuel allowed. Lost lures and broken tackle extra.
Multiple guides.

Expenses defined:
Boat fuel and oil; vehicle gasoline; launch fees; road tolls; motel if required; live/dead bait; lost lures and/or broken tackle. $50 for third person and we discourage that.

Extended stay trips are plus expense (room and meals)
